(NEW YORK) The Council of Fashion Designers of America's second-annual Upstairs at the Library viewing party, part of the CFDA Fashion Awards on June 4, will this year add a new dimension thanks to host, and new partner, T-Mobile Sidekick. One-of-a-kind Sidekicks, created by Anna Sheffield for Bing Bang, Steven Cox and Daniel Silver for Duckie Brown, Justin Giunta for Subversive, Phillip Lim, David Neville and Marcus Wainwright for Rag & Bone, Robert Lee Morris, and CFDA members Tommy Hilfiger, Betsey Johnson, Reed Krakoff, Cynthia Rowley, and Diane von Furstenberg, will debut that evening in the New York Public Library's Astor Hall and be auctioned in the fall, with all proceeds benefiting Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. Giunta tiled the face of his gadget with Napoleonic Bee charms, Swarovski crystal pearls, and chain tassels; Lim incorporated a cheetah motif created by applying dorado and jet nut Swarovski crystals; Hilfiger clad his in classic tartan skin, inspired by his Fall 2007 collection "Pop Elegance" collection; and Krakoff adorned his handset with the Coach Legacy stripe and encased it in a python carrying case.
