the best magazine you'll never find
the past few times i've mentioned trace magazine several people have asked where they could find it on the stands. I only knew of 2 places at the time and since then i haven't been able to find it there EITHER. What gives? looks like this commitment phobe may be forced to subscribe for once. Thankfully some great force of nature has prompted the good people over at trace to let you download this months issue free of charge [insert happy dance]so for those of you who havent had the pleasure-enjoy!

Put your hood up
Melinda Williams came out of hiding this weekend and hit us with a banger! the bag throws me of for some reason but thats for another time. Once i saw this pic i thought imediately of Tracee Ellis Ross's Vibe Vixen spread where she kills this vintage Patrick Kelly number. Not sure who designed melindas, its more fitted in the arms and less fitted at the ankles, but I'd be happy to accept either version of this hood classic into my home.

I'll start with the bad news.
I flubbed on the MAC x Fafi post. I gave out the wrong info on the release date. I was so excited to share the news about the collection I went on my own assumptions instead of researching a little more on the specifics. In my original blog i told you all the collection was due in stores later this spring.
WRONG!
Factually the release date is 2/13/08, a little over a month away.-Thats the good news...

Victorias Secret does Lanvin
and they do it pretty well! VS took a shot at this lanvin triple strap pump that i've been salivating over for the past few months-no they dont come in pink like the originals but the shape and style looks true to form (sans the fourth strap). Niceness for your pencil skirts.
